Annette Green has been a visionary perfume authority since the 1950s.

 

As Executive Director and President of The Fragrance Foundation, a non-profit educational organization, Annette encouraged American women to wear fragrances every day, instead of simply on date nights. When women began to follow her advice, fragrance houses began to create more fragrances, and the entire industry began its spectacular evolution from a small six-figure industry to its current multi-billion-dollar stature.

 

Among Annette Greens Accomplishments:

 

* President emeritus of The Fragrance Foundation

 

* Creator of The Fragrance Foundation Awards [sometimes know as the FiFi Awards] — the Oscars of the Fragrance Industry

 

*Founder of America’s first fragrance museum, The Annette Green Perfume Museum at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles

 

* Recipient of the Legend of Beauty Award

 

* Founder of The Sense of Smell Institute

“The fragrance industry has always been a leader in creativity because of the nature of the product. If you are a creative person, no one has what you have. Passion is number one. You have to have the passion for it. And when you have that passion you have to dedicate your life to it. I dedicated my life to it. I did it willingly, pleasurably, and I never regretted it. It was my avocation and my vocation.
