I wouldn’t really steal something any more than you would….Unless, of course, for some un- just reason it had somehow gotten into the wrong hands: Cars, bank accounts… The man of my life, trapped by the mesmerizing spell of a malicious rival. Stealing my man back from that slut, who in the most under- handed way snaked him away from me. Now, that’s Bad Girl Banditry Whether carried out as a cool, stealthy job in the dark of night, or as a hot steamy affair in broad daylight, with just a pinch of ironic humor Bandit is my most elegant, wicked, perfume accomplice. A bit of History Bandit, a renowned classic Chypre Floral fragrance, was originally launched in 1944 by Robert Piguet, a talented Swiss fashion designer working in Paris during the 1940s. NOSE: Germaine Cellier, one of the first women perfumers. COMPOSIITON At the time of 1944 launch TOP NOTES Aldehydes, Galbanum, Artemisia, Bergamot, Neroli, Gardenia, Ylang-Ylang and Orange; MIDDLE NOTES Carnation, Jasmine, Violet Root, Tuberose and Rose; BASE NOTES Oakmoss, Leather, Civet, Vetiver, Patchouli, Myrrh, Musk, Amber and Coconut. I first met Bandit in the early 2010’s when she was reformulated by Aurélien Guichard (then at Givaudan). The “enfant terrible” of the Robert Piguet fragrance collection, and my own first acquaintance with a perfume on the dark side, Bandit transformed my life with her dark and feral leather notes, deep green shadowy elegance, and wicked humor. Bandit’s most recent reformulation was completed in 2023 by Calice Becker (Givaudan), and BELIEVE ME, she’s still working her samle Bad Girl magic.
